WELCOME TO UNACC: A CHAMPION FOR CLEAN COOKING IN UGANDA
The Uganda National Alliance on Clean Cooking (UNACC) is a non-profit organization established in 2013 to address the pressing issue of clean cooking in Uganda. UNACC brings together a diverse coalition of stakeholders, including private companies, associations, and individuals, to promote the adoption and utilization of clean cooking technologies and practices.

WHY CLEAN COOKING MATTERS
Traditional cooking methods, such as cooking over open fires, are a major source of health problems in Uganda. These methods produce harmful pollutants that can cause respiratory problems, heart disease, and other health problems. They also contribute to deforestation and climate change.

Clean cooking, on the other hand, is the use of cooking technologies that do not produce harmful pollutants. These technologies include improved cookstoves, biogas stoves, and solar cookers.

OUR MISSION

UNACC is committed to enhancing synergy and coordination among stakeholders to ensure equitable universal access to clean cooking solutions in Uganda. We envision a future where every Ugandan household has access to affordable, efficient, and sustainable cooking options, improving health, environmental outcomes, and socioeconomic well-being.
OUR VISION
We envision a future where clean cooking is the norm in Uganda, transforming the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
